When I’m not shooting weddings. I shoot lots of boudoirs. I happen to love my role in having women feel beautiful in their own skin. Society has made it hard on women with plastic surgery and the ‘perfect woman’ syndrome. I like showing that real women are even more beautiful than the magazine girls. They are real and genuine. I also happen to think the body is a wonderland, and whatshisface took that line from me.
These are the Rice Hope Diaries.

This plantation house was pretty haunted. I spent the night the night prior and couldn’t sleep a wink. I don’t know if it was because it wasn’t my own bed or at any moment I would expect to see the grounds little girl ghost watching me.

These girls came down from PA to be with their friend for her wedding and decided to get a hotel (or haunted plantation) and we had a boudoir day with all the girls.

I was semi obsessed with this painting. For some reason the colors were just vibrant and it was kind of mysterious. It made me want to get back to the canvas myself. I haven’t painted in forever but I do love to paint.

It rained all day on us. The lighting was nice and subtle. So many of these pictures turned out great that I know it was hard for them to choose.

These girls were so beautiful that it’s hard to believe they already weren’t in magazines. Jackie looked like a natural in front of the camera.

Now if we just had some snow for this shot, it would have been perfect. Cold. But themed correctly.

Let’s schedule your friends for a boudoir thon. Get a cool looking hotel room or if you have a room that is really unique and you like the look of it, let’s set a day aside and shoot everyone. We’ll have some champagne and berries, play some really awesome music and just have a good time. Oh, and you will come away with some great shots of yourself.

Thanks girls. I love meeting new people. Ok, sorry to cut this short……the husband is whining and we have to get going.
Until later
