{ Natalie and Greg }

Not only are getting married this beautiful (xing fingers) weekend BUT… they are also the Winner of my Engagement Image Contest that wrapped November 10th. They won customized Christmas Cards to send out this year designed exclusively FOR them with their image selection! Congrats to Nat and Greg!

In the era of mass email and computer lingo it will be nice to send out REAL PAPER Christmas cards to their friends and family. Some of my favorite collectables are old vintage Valentines cards and post cards. I love old stationary and had started a vivd collection of old love letters, mainly Valentines (my birthday is Valentines day, therefore the theme) quite some time ago. I cherish that collection so much – there is something charismatic reading the words of someone’s heart, even the slightest hint of their story within those old love letters. I love stationary so much that Erica designed my logo and mentioned an old postage stamp theme, and instantly I was in love with the idea. I’ve always loved good papers and stationary and writing letters, and receiving letters. The idea of Natalie and Greg sending out cards this Christmas with an image I was able to provide them with just || THRILLS || me!!

This was the image decided upon by YOU! Thank you for voting. It was a close race with Michael and Morgan’s images but Victory prevailed.  Everyone commented and stated this looked like a real moment and Natalie just beamed. I concur. They are a very fun couple who are very at ease with each other. They played a lot and wrestled often. I watched entertained most of the time.

Cute. She looks like she is in the for the ride of her life!

Ah! Warmth. Me and the sun. Old chums.

Doesn’t she have great eyes? The camera loves her. I have been talking to her for such a long time now, I can barely believe we are finally at our crunch time. She has been planning this wedding for so long that she confided in me that someone she worked with thought she was just kidding about getting married bc it’s been in the works for such a long time now. Well believe it. We are a matter of hours away from the big day!!

I think this is one of my last sessions I did with my Canon. Bittersweet break up! Me and the Camera that is. No worries. I’m over it. Moved onto better horizons.;)

There will soon be wedding images to follow up this blog. They are having smores at the wedding and she has been UBER excited about her photographs. She has basically maneuvered the day with photos in mind with oodles of time. I hope my only problem when blogging is having too many great images to choose from!!

Until Next time. xoxoxo
