Best of 2010

Hello Everyone. {{ Happy New Year}}. I am ready and greeting this new year! There are lots of grand projects on my horizon. I have made the standard traditional resolutions that we all make for ourselves, but I also want to further the enlightenment that I’ve been working on.  I now intend to make it a full fledged practice instead of a plan as I have in the past (You know how you WANT to do something yet you never just get out and do it – That’s what I’m talking about -I really hope to change this year-the year of doing vs the year of hoping to do). In order to get there, I hope to read the books that will help me on my path as well as asking for the right teachers to come to my path for greater learning.  I will lightly say meditate b/c every time I try, I fail miserably, although I don’t know what standards I’m holding accountable since I’ve no idea if I am doing it right or wrong – I’m just doing it. But practice becomes habit and habit I’m hoping to formulate (if the kids don’t barge in, if the phone doesn’t ring, if the TV isn’t too loud, and the dog decides not to bark…….right! Isn’t this the life of a mother? How is anyone to find the peaceful power of the mind and the thoughts that revive them at that rate?) – This past year has taught me to value the importance of souls. Notice all of those around you and think about how you treat any and everyone and as a result how Karma being manifested in front of our eyes (don’t think for a second anyone is beyond Karma and the power of the Universal laws-I’ve seen it too often- it’s coming for you! No escape;)

I’ve witnessed so many sufferings this year yet so many miracles all within hours of the other.  Isn’t that life? Joys and miracles, devastation, destruction,  emergence, love and understanding.  - Your ”hoping to be” enlightened photographer.

As I began my usual  archiving process the beginning of each year for the year that expired,  I was flipping through some images that are a recollection over the past year.

Many of my clients love seeing a comment on their image, so if you come across one that stands out to you. Please leave a comment!

Many blessings and I hope your path this year is one of reward and enlightenment as well! – Tomme
