Few Links I want to share

Here are a few links of some things to think about, check out, decide to be different- to just look at and never open…..

The first one is from a fellow photographer and instead of repeating what she said I just linked to her blog- these things are crucial in planning phases of your day. Some things to think about.

And when I got home from vacation….

My first editorial shoot went to publish and was in my mailbox!!! I’m so excited. It’s so rewarding to see my work published!

Sometimes we photographers don’t always hear ‘Thank you’s’ or that our work is liked. We are all human and like to know that what we love is also appreciated by others. Remember to take time to tell someone thank you or that you like something about them. Nice words go such a long way in someone’s day, or even life. I have always lived and loved life through a lens and only recently have I come to know and appreciate the weight that words can carry. As a matter of fact the mere reason I went into photography is because someone told me they thought I had the talent to go far. If it weren’t for that one person believing in me, I never would have thought twice about photography. It would have remained my favorite hobby. I sure didn’t believe I had any talent, but was fortunate enough for someone to tell me they thought I did.

Take the time out of your day, brush off your pride and make sure someone knows they are appreciated in your eyes. You can easily make someone smile with just a sentence. That’s a pretty rewarding feeling!

I feel so lucky to be doing what I love.  It’s extremely gratifying to see my work in print.
