the Hammond Family | Family Session

Meet the Hammond Family . . .

TELL ME THEY AREN’T THE CUTEST most HOTTEST family? Ah. I just fell in LOVE with this lil’ family as soon as I saw them! And trust me, they are as awesomely hot as they look! If that even makes sense!?

But, I do need to back up . . . I first fell in love with them when Megan had emailed me about wanting a session for her little boy who is about to turn one . . . But once she elaborated on the ideas and themes and props she had! I was beyond sold! And promised she would get her money worth on this session! Laugh. Then, when they showed up to the session, set up each theme she had talked about and I saw how enthusiastic and interactive they were with their son! AH. They had it ALL covered! From entertainment to snacks to love . . . how could you NOT get a good photo that day?

You be the judge and let us know how awesome their session was! Because I just want to scream with excitement each time I see their images . . . A HUGE Thank You goes to the Hammond Family for being so prepared / awesome / entertaining!

Christina + Adam | Wedding Photography

The first weekend in May . . . Where to begin? It was a hectic one for Tomme and I. Tomme had two weddings that weekend (assisting a Friday night wedding and photographing a wedding for THG Saturday) + a ‘LOVE’ session on Sunday . . . while I had small sessions all that week up until my wedding I was photographing on Saturday. So total, that week we had 3 sessions + 3 weddings. How we made it thru? We don’t have a clue! BUT, we have awesome photos to show for it!

We want to first debut the Lorick / Clayton wedding. My first solo wedding of 2012.

As I had mentioned before in their previous blog posts, ALL of their sessions took place at their home in Swansea . . . where I fell in LOVE with all the awesome locations they had for their sessions / wedding! Not to mention falling in love with the couple. Christina and Adam really are one in a million. You can tell the love they have for each other . . . it’s true and genuine. And the spunk they both have is to die for! Their reception was one of the best I have been too all year! It was filled with everyone dancing . . . everyone laughing . . . everyone just have a good ole’ time! Take a look at their wedding day!

Jessica & Jon Ralph | Wedding

Jessica & Jon Ralph’s G U E S T Blog:

{Our story: John Ralph and I met in 9th grade and were friends throughout high school. He likes to say I “never gave him the time of day”, being the cheerleader from the rival high school, but I always considered him to be someone I admired. He had more drive than most guys and I always knew I would hear about the great things he would accomplish one day. Little did I know, I would be celebrating those accomplishments with him. After we both went our separate ways in college we lost communication for a while. Thanks to social networking (facebook and old school instant messaging) we reconnected in our second year of college. John Ralph invited me to be his date to his sisters debutant ball over christmas break. That night was when things between us started to change into something more than “just friends”. The following february I flew to new york to visit him at West Point and see the big apple. That weekend we knew we were onto something good. Three years, and lots of phone calls, plane rides, and letters later, John Ralph decided to put an end to our long distance relationship by asking me to marry him during a trip to Charleston. We planned a wedding in three weeks so we could move to Italy together for his job (he is an officer in the US Army). And the rest is history!}

erin + ryan | fun love

Erin and Ryan were married at the Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Taylors, SC with a reception to follow at the Willow Creek Ranch in Landrum, SC. The Church was one of the most beautiful Catholic Church we have seen in a long time… huge doors, high ceilings, great lighting… And the Reception site, just AMAZING. You drive up to this beautiful house, with a river that runs into a ‘pond’ in the back, a beautiful red barn that over looked the pond… Okay… I really could go on for days talking about both of these places, let’s skip to this FUN — and I mean FUN — couple.

Now, the wedding day was the first time that we got to meet the beautiful couple because they had scheduled to do the ‘day after’ session with us after their honeymoon. Erica and I like to meet our clients before we shoot them so we can get a feel for their personalities, who they are, what they expect, etc. — But we didn’t need to do that with Erin and Ryan because they were so EASY to photograph. They off the bat had these fun, easy going personalities. We didn’t need to loosen them up to the camera, they were naturals — I’m not just saying this to be nice, they really were!! The E-N-T-I-R-E bridal party was that way! Check out our photos and let us know what you think!

SEE! Now, tell me this crew was not fun! Naturals, right? We were so excited that Erin and Ryan decided to use Tomme Hilton Gallery as their photographers! These are the experinces we thrive on!
